Jeffrey Thompson, DPT

Jeffrey Thompson, DPT, was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. He attended Augustana College where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology in 2017. From there he returned to Peoria and earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Bradley University. He then began working in the Chicagoland area before moving to Sarasota with his fiancée. Dr. Thompson’s practice has focused on orthopedics, spine, and therapeutic neuroscience education. His treatments emphasize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, functional activity training, neuromuscular re-education, and pain neuroscience education to help patients improve their quality of life.

Dr. Thompson is committed to enhancing his clinical skills by continuing his education in therapeutic neuroscience education, manual therapy intervention, blood flow restriction training, and vestibular rehabilitation to provide patients with the highest quality of care. He offers one-on-one care in an environment focused on restoring functional mobility and achieving a healthier lifestyle. In his spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with his wife, son and four dogs.
