Joseph Adkins APRN-CNP

Joe Adkins APRN-CNP, received his Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky, and is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

He has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, wearing the roles of a paramedic, a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy Reserves, and a registered nurse, and a nurse practitioner. His experience in patient care over the past 10 years has been in the arenas of same-day surgery, orthopedic care, and pain management.

Joe is a professional member of the American Nurses Association. He prides himself in encouraging communication and building quality patient relationships to improve the likelihood of positive healthcare outcomes. He employs the holistic treatment model and believes that utilization of a healthy lifestyle is important for overall wellness. His goal is to educate patients and develop individualized care plans to successfully meet their pain management needs.

In 2019, Joe and his family relocated to Venice. Originally from the Ohio River Valley, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons as well as traveling, football, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He feels that by being involved in the Venice community as a citizen and a healthcare provider, he helps others become active and improve their quality of life. He is excited to build lasting relationships and write this chapter in his story with Restore Medical Partners.
