Discography, or Discograms, are non-invasive diagnostic procedures utilized to determine the source of pain in the spine. The procedure is performed by injecting sterile liquid into the discs in question, under X-ray guidance. This liquid effectively pressurizes the disc, and will induce pain if the dis is the source of the back pain.
