Dr. Katz Wins 2023 SRQ Top Doctor

It is with honor to announce that Michael Katz, DPM was selected to receive the 2023 SRQ Magazine Top Doctors Award. This award comes through the nomination of peers. Doctors that participated in the program nominated doctors in Sarasota and Manatee County for whom they had the utmost respect. This award is given to Dr. Katz for excellence in Podiatry.

Complete results of the Top Doctors Awards will be published in the November edition of SRQ Magazine and again in the January edition.

About Dr. Katz

Dr. Michael Katz, DPM has over 40 years of experience treating patients in the Venice area. His specialties include podiatry and foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Katz received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA in 1971. Following his time at Ursinus College, he attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with his doctorate in 1975. He then went on to complete his residency with the United States Air Force in 1977 at the Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Dr. Katz is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He is also board-certified in foot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Katz is currently in office treating patients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. He devotes his time to outpatient surgery and more acute issues, [e.g., heel pain (plantar fasciitis), neuroma pain, fractures, sprains, ingrown toenails, bunions, and hammertoes].
