The Ruck to Remember is a meaningful movement (a movement within a movement) helping Civilians, Veterans and Active Duty come together, and cementing bonds that connect the community to its Veterans. Restore Medical Partners was excited to be a regional sponsor of the movement Memorial Day Weekend, alongside MediaMark and Home Instead.
Marine Corps Veteran Keith Jolly founded Ruck to Remember in 2011. Then in 2020, the whole Honor Movement Foundation was born, and the Ruck to Remember became a “movement within a movement.”
“The Honor Movement Foundations’ primary mission is to honor and provide support to families of the fallen and injured military veterans and first responders through financial support, logistics, education, and missions of empowerment,” Jolly said.
Twelve years later, Holly and his board of directors raised more than $1 million, sharing it with multiple organizations aligned with the Foundation’s mission and vision. Current programs include Operation Clear Path, Honor Guardian, Transition Assistance Career Counseling (TACC), Summit to Valor Project, and Joint Ops.
With so much political news and post-Covid challenges, it was a fulfilling opportunity to give back to our community by supporting our veterans and military. “There is so much that our US military has done for us. Any opportunity that we get to support our veterans , to support our military, even to just say thank you, we take that opportunity every single time,” says Lindsey Job, MD, owner of Restore Medical Partners.
Join us as we share our inspiring journey of joining The Honor Movement. If you would like to donate, your donations go directly to support active duty, veterans, first responders & their families during crucial times of need.
The Honor Movement Foundation strives to maintain an A+ Charity Navigator rating, meaning at least 90 percent or more of the funds received goes directly to the people who need it most: our veterans, first responders, and families of the fallen and wounded – we will always aim achieve and maintain 90% give rate.
